Los Angeles Design Week/end

a free natural dye workshop and a group show bringing together local artists working across different mediums, all exploring what happens when seemingly opposing forces come together.

The table is both a physical object and a social stage: a place where we gather, negotiate, celebrate, perform, belong, and sometimes break the rules. Artists were invited to interpret the theme broadly, from the rituals of dining and domestic life to larger social, cultural, and personal systems.

Join us for a free, collaborative natural dye workshop where we’ll paint on a 12-foot naturally dyed table runner while exploring the colors and possibilities of natural dye. Learn about how to modify colors, come get your hands a little colorful, experiment, and add your own mark to the table.
