Land use change data is entering a new era. As satellite imagery, data processing, and carbon accounting methods improve, the industry is moving from static updates released every several years toward a more frequent, granular, and actionable model.

This session explores what that shift means for companies, practitioners, and the broader carbon accounting community. Land Emissions Alliance partners — WRI, HowGood, Quantis, Mérieux NutriSciences | Blonk, and AdAstra — will discuss the evolution of shared land-use values, the implications of more frequent data updates, and how organizations can prepare for re-baselining in this new era of data improvements.
