✨️ Join us for Cinema Series Vol. I — an evening of thought-provoking conversation, unexpected perspectives, good food, great tea, and wonderful company.
🎬This time, we'll build our conversation around two very different films that explore the same psychological situation from contrasting perspectives.
"Heretic" examines how religious belief responds to intellectual challenge and psychological manipulation, while "Nefarious" follows how skepticism and scientific certainty are gradually undermined by experiences that resist rational explanation.
This won't be a discussion about religion or about deciding which worldview is right. Instead, we'll talk about certainty and doubt, how our beliefs shape our identity, why changing our minds can be so difficult, where persuasion ends and manipulation begins, and what happens psychologically when our deepest assumptions are challenged.
❗️Please watch both films beforehand — the evening is dedicated entirely to conversation and discussion. A few days before the event, registered guests will receive the key questions and topics that will guide our conversation giving everyone a chance to reflect before we meet.
