The Sustainability Summit: An Immersive Climate Experience

​Can virtual reality become the cultural infrastructure for a more sustainable future? We think it can, and on July 18 we’re testing that idea out loud.

​Spend the day inside BurnerSphere with three groups doing real work, on the ground and in the ocean. Earth Guardians, who care for the land beneath Black Rock City. Dr. Marcus Eriksen and the Junk Raft, a vessel built from ocean plastic that sailed 2,600 miles across the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. And the Alternative Energy Zone, the team that keeps Black Rock City running without a single fossil fuel generator.
