Following the launch of the Lambeth Growth Plan, the council is working with our partners to deploy our growing innovation sectors towards solving the borough’s challenges. Over the past few months, Sustainable Ventures and Lambeth Council teams have partnered with pioneering startups to pilot solutions in three critical areas:
🏠 Housing Retrofit: Tackling damp, mould, and energy efficiency in social housing.
♻️ Waste & Circularity: Increasing food waste participation on estates with data-led smart bins.
🏊 Leisure Decarbonisation: Optimising energy use in complex facilities like leisure centres in Lambeth.
What to Expect: This is a demonstration of innovators and council service areas tackling the public sector’s toughest challenges.
