James Gilbert is the Senior Director of Partnership Marketing at HubSpot, a leading customer relationship management (CRM) platform that provides software and support to help companies grow better. He runs partnership marketing at HubSpot including the HubSpot for Startups program which is designed to help millions of startups scale in a cost-effective manner. Prior to HubSpot, Gilbert led commercial and growth teams at start-ups, mid-size as well as large companies across Asia Pacific. He is a mentor and investor at Startmate, one of the top accelerators in the world. Outside of work, James is a self-described data nerd with an insatiable curiosity for business growth. He regularly speaks at industry events around Asia Pacific, and is often approached to share his expertise on small business growth. His happy place, however, is deep in a spreadsheet, coming up with insights that will drive growth for HubSpot.
2. Kai Yong, Head of Business Development, AWS Startups (Vietnam)
Kai is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and community building across Southeast Asia. He has been instrumental in helping tech companies grow and scale. As a former founder of media and education startups, Kai brings a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the entrepreneurial journey.
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kai has successfully led partnerships with over a hundred organizations, supporting thousands of tech startups in their innovation and growth endeavors. Notably, he co-pioneered the first AI accelerator program by AWS in ASEAN, which led to the creation of the region’s first Generative AI accelerator. Currently, Kai leads business development for startups in Vietnam and spearheads the Generative AI startup initiative for AWS across ASEAN.
3. Laura Nguyen, Partner, GenAI Fund
Laura Nguyen is a Partner at GenAI Fund, boasting over eight years of experience in technology and entrepreneurship. Her career highlights include founding and successfully exiting an education venture and leading market development initiatives in Vietnam for a global cybersecurity company. Laura has also played a pivotal role in expanding Web3 and AI businesses across Southeast Asia for Amazon Web Services (AWS). She currently serves as the Country Head for Ava Labs in Vietnam and is a founding advisor to Arcanic AI (Top 3 fine-tuned Vietnamese LLM), recognized among the top 12 startups in the AWS GenAI ASEAN Startup Accelerator Program.
4. Alex Nguyen, Investment Associate, Monk's Hill Ventures
Alex Nguyen is an Investment Associate at Monk's Hill Ventures, a leading early-stage tech venture capital firm in Southeast Asia. Alex has experience in startup corporate strategy and fundraising, private equity, and investment banking. Prior to Monk’s Hill Ventures, Alex worked at GoDee, a mobility startup, where she was in charge of fund-raising as well as developing growth strategy. Before that, she worked at Kusto Management Vietnam and VNDirect Securities Corporation. Alex has a Master’s Degree in Risk and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Ha is responsible for scouting the most exceptional founders and nurturing promising startups for Antler in Vietnam. Prior to joining Antler, she was the marketing lead for Vincere, a B2B SaaS solution for recruitment agencies of all sizes.
