About Event

This immersive experience ensures that the lessons of 9/11 are never forgotten, inspiriting all who attend to serve and lead with purpose. Free to the public, key features include an interactive exhibit that chronicles the events of September 11, 2001 through powerful visuals, artifacts, and first-hand accounts. This self-guided experience allows attendees to explore the timeline of that fateful day, understand the heroic actions of first responders, and reflect on the lasting impact of 9/11. Field trips and group tours are welcome to sign up for free guided tours.

The 9/11 Project also includes a community resource fair that allows visitors to learn about civic engagement and service organizations, discover volunteer opportunities to give back to the community, and meet veterans, firefighters, police officers, and emergency personnel who serve and protect. Guests can also get up close with military, fire, police, and emergency vehicles at the interactive Touch-a-Truck exhibit. This hands-on experience lets attendees, especially children, explore the vehicles used by first responders and talk with the professionals who operate them.
