Founders (don't) cry
Asked about introspection, Marc Andreessen answers: "If you go back 400 years, it would never have occurred to anybody to be introspective."
Yet almost 2,000 years ago Marcus Aurelius wrote the Meditations while busy fighting a war. Steve Jobs, Larry Page and Jeff Bezos all had the same coaches. And Jensen Huang says he uses the phrase "pain and suffering" inside NVIDIA with great glee.
Nobody wants to invite pain in their lives. So how do we leverage chaos for growth, avoiding burnout and business failure?
Join me for an introduction to Founder Journey, the inside-out path to self-discovery.
We will talk about:
Transforming moments of difficulty into opportunity
Turning chaos and conflict into growth
How the internal game matters more than external success
How the story you tell yourself influences the energy you project
I will introduce the zero confidence strategy
Warning: we will acknowledge the subconscious, archetypes, tarot, the hero's journey and the power of dreams, and may occasionally quote Jung, Campbell and Brené Brown.
