If you’re sick!! of staring at a screen and looking to get your hands messy while introducing a practice of play + tactile making into your life— clay club is made<3 for <3 u<3
We'll explore the art of polymer clay, a bake-able medium that requires no kiln, so you leave with your pieces day of. Checkout this Pinterest board to see what's possible!
You'll sculpt up to three miniature creations— before turning them into magnets to adorn your fridge (or any other magnetic surface), into charms to add to your necklaces, phones, you name it it, or keep them as precious figurines.
Perfect for beginners or clay fiends alike, we’ll kick off with an inspo session and brief intro to the materials before bumping the tunes and leaving you sculpt your hearts out amongst new friends.
It will be a perfect evening of embracing our inner child & tactile making in community.

What can I expect from a club at RecCreate?
We design all of our clubs at RecCreate to feel like going over to a friends apartment for a craft hang where they took care of grabbing all the materials and show you the basics before the music starts bumping! Our emphasis is on process, play and community building, with conversation prompts throughout.
As with all RecCreate events, you can expect to go on this journey with a room full of lovely strangers. We’ll offer opportunities for connection throughout our time— encouraging the spirit of the collective. It is (so) much more fun to get to create together.
Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!
Please note! All events have a minimum capacity required to run in order to provide the best experience possible <3 Though it’s rare, on the off chance that this minimum is not met, we’ll reach out 48hrs prior about a reschedule or refund.

Though we do our best to keep all photography / video to a minimum, please note all guests who attend consent to being photographed and videoed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
