Signature Gathering Kickoff for Connect Bay Area Transit
To avoid devastating Bay Area transit service cuts, we need to gather 200,000 signatures to get Connect Bay Area, the regional transit funding measure enabled by SB63, on the ballot.
This is our all hands on deck moment: we're kicking off signature gathering with a day of action on Friday, Jan 23 starting with a rally in downtown San Francisco at 10 am, and carrying petitions via transit to signature training kickoff events in all five counties.
A diverse coalition of electeds, labor, business, and transit advocates from across Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and San Francisco counties has come together to make this measure possible--and this is our day to start our signature gathering campaign strong.
RSVP so that we can send you exact coordinates when we have them:
10 am Rally and Sig Gathering Kickoff in downtown San Francisco
12pm Kickoff - tentatively near El Cerrito Plaza BART
12:15pm Kickoff - tentatively near Redwood City Station
12:30pm Kickoff - tentatively near San Jose Diridon

After you RSVP, we'll send you a link to join our Slack instance if you want to get involved with organizing and chat with other advocates and volunteers--as well as other ways to connect and get started!
If you can't make this date, sign up here for campaign updates.
