About the Event
Leading people can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be isolating.
Whether you're navigating a difficult performance conversation, managing team dynamics, supporting a struggling employee, advocating for your team during change, or figuring out how to grow as a leader yourself, it helps to have a trusted group of peers to learn from.
People Leaders Roundtable is a confidential, discussion-based session facilitated by executive coach Liz Myers. This will be a collaborative space where people leaders come together to share real challenges, ask questions, and learn from one another's experiences.
Bring a current leadership challenge, question, or situation you'd like feedback on. You'll receive insights from Liz's executive coaching expertise, as well as support from fellow leaders in the Tech Ladies community who may have faced similar situations or are working through them right now.
Example topics and questions might include:
How do I give difficult feedback without damaging trust?
How can I better support a team member who is struggling with performance?
What should I do when conflict emerges between team members?
How do I advocate for my team when resources are limited?
How can I manage up more effectively?
What does leadership growth look like when I'm already stretched thin?
How do I build influence in a new leadership role?
How can I lead through uncertainty, reorganization, or change?
You're also welcome to attend simply to listen, learn, and contribute your perspective. Some of the most valuable insights come from hearing how other leaders approach similar challenges.
Sessions are not recorded to create a safe space for open and candid conversation.

This roundtable is for current people leaders at all levels, from first-time managers and team leads to directors and senior leaders.

Liz Myers, MS, PCC is the founder of a Boston-based boutique leadership consulting firm Integrative Leadership Strategies. Liz is a certified executive coach, expert facilitator and formally trained team coach. Liz holds an engineering Master's degree from Stanford University, coach certificates from Coach U, the NeuroLeadership Institute, and ACT Leadership.
