​YAID is a Claude Partner Network company, and is interested in helping Leopard members get official Anthropic Developer certified. Right now this certification process is limited to a select group of development partners like YAID which is why we're partnering with them on it.
In this session we'll cover what the Anthropic certification is and exam logistics: what to expect, how to prepare, and how to register. Come by to learn more, ask questions, and decide if it's right for you!

​What is the Anthropic certification? It’s an official credential designed to demonstrate practical knowledge of Claude and Anthropic’s tools. The credential belongs to you and can be used anywhere in your career or job search. ​Why get certified? At Leopard, we're always looking to give members ways to develop professionally and to stand out to employers. We felt like this offers a way to build practical AI skills in a structured way, but with official Anthropic credentials <3 and paid for!
​Do I need prior AI experience to take the exam? There are no formal prerequisites. It's pretty challenging though so you'll want to do the prep course.
​What is the exam like? It is a two-hour, proctored exam. You cannot use the internet or an LLM while taking it.
​How much does the exam cost? The current exam fee is $125. YAID will reimburse Leopard members who pass the exam by September 15.
​What is YAID and why are they offering this to Leopard members? YAID is an Anthropic-approved implementation partner, which means Anthropic sends them customer opportunities, credits, technical resources, and more. Anthropic’s partner network & the certification program are invite-only, so YAID is experimenting with ways to build their network of certified engineers who can work on future projects.
​Does getting certified mean I’ll get work from YAID? No. There is no guarantee of employment or project work, and there is no commitment required from you. Certification may make you eligible to be considered for future contractor projects, but that is separate from earning the credential.
​Do I have to work with YAID afterward? No. The certification is portable and belongs to you regardless of whether you ever work with YAID.
​How do I sign up? Interested members will complete a short intake form. YAID will then create the account needed to access the partner certification process and send instructions for booking the exam.
