About the Speakers:
Pam Martinez is the Head of Engineering at Brisk, where they're building AI-powered tools to help teachers save time and provide students with personalized learning experiences. She has spent most of her career in edtech, being an early hire and engineer at two edtech companies, Seesaw and Clever. Before Brisk, she co-founded and was the CTO of a fintech company, Snowball Wealth. Pam is a Stanford CS grad and is passionate about creating inclusive teams and scalable technology. As the Head of Engineering at Brisk, she is in charge of the hiring process for software engineers.
Brad Pielech is a seasoned technology executive who has led engineering organizations across companies at every stage, from Series A startups to public enterprises. Currently serving as CTO at Onaroll, his career spans leadership roles at Toast, Cisco, CloudLock, and BAE Systems, where he has consistently transformed engineering teams and driven technological innovation. Brad brings deep expertise in cloud platforms, AI, security, and restaurant technology, having successfully navigated multiple company acquisitions and scaling challenges throughout his career. He holds both BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is passionate about building diverse, high-performing engineering teams that deliver customer value while improving operational efficiency.
