About our cohost, Alaffia Health 🏥: Alaffia Health is building an AI-powered platform for health insurers to reduce administrative waste by identifying billing errors, overcharges, and inaccurate medical claims. Founded by a brother-and-sister duo, they've raised $73M, including a recent $55M Series B, and currently have 66 employees (23 engineers). Over 50% of the company is women, and they're actively working to improve gender diversity in engineering. They're hiring Senior and Staff Engineers in NYC, with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office) and a standard ~40-hour workweek.
