About Event

If the last decade of AI was defined by models that understand language and images, the next decade will be defined by AI that can act in the physical world.

From humanoid robots to embodied agents operating in industrial environments, the frontier of AI is expanding beyond software into machines that perceive, reason, and interact with the real world.

But building physical AI is not just a hardware challenge. It requires massive advances in data collection, simulation environments, reinforcement learning, and real-world evaluation.

Join AI Circle for an evening exploring the emerging stack powering the next generation of robotics and embodied intelligence.

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour, followed by a panel discussion with leaders building the infrastructure and systems behind physical AI.

Speakers include:

  • Rosalind Shinkle: Founder and CEO of Tuesday Lab where they build delightful robots. Previously she was at Boston Dynamics and studied robotics at UPenn. Connect with Rosalind.

  • Brad Bycraft: Product Leader at Applied Intuition and former VP of Engineering at Sanctuary AI, where he developed several generations of humanoid robots and deployed the first commercial humanoid robot. Connect with Brad.

  • Riya Baviskar: Member of Technical Staff at Dyna Robotics, where she leads external data acquisition for physical AI systems. Previously at X and a graduate of IIT Bombay. Connect with Riya.

  • Krishna: Senior Director of Applied Research at Centific, where he works on humanoid and industrial embodied AI, robotics systems, and reinforcement learning environments for physical AI. Connect with Krishna.

  • Sarthak Bhagat: Research Engineer at 1X Technologies working on embodied AI and humanoid robotics. He is currently working on 1X World Model, building systems that enable robots to understand, predict, and act in the physical world. Previously a Founding Research Engineer at General Robotics, and a MS in Robotics graduate from Carnegie Mellon University. Connect with Sarthak.

Together, we’ll explore what it takes to build intelligent systems that operate outside the lab: how robots learn, where simulation breaks down, how data is collected in the real world, and what infrastructure will power the next wave of embodied intelligence.

Agenda:

  • 6:00 – 7:00: Cocktail Hour and Networking

  • 7:00 – 7:10: Welcome and Introductions

  • 7:10 – 7:50: Panel Discussion

  • 7:50 – 8:05: Q&A

  • 8:05 – 9:00: Networking and Cocktails
