International Generalist Day 2026 🌍
Imagine you could meet new friends who understood your squiggly background? Well, now you can!
Join Diana in London for International Generalist Day — a global celebration happening simultaneously across cities worldwide on September 16th, 2026.
When was the last time you sat down with a pile of magazines, a pair of scissors, and absolutely no idea what you were going to make?
Spend your evening cutting, sticking, creating, and dreaming. We'll be making physical vision boards using magazine cut-outs, stickers, words, images, crafts, and whatever else catches your eye.
It's a space for you to pause and reflect on where you are today, and imagine what you want more of in the coming months, in a fun, creative, and social way. Your vision board can hold whatever you're chasing: ideas, experiences, skills, relationships, places, projects, adventures - the wonderfully scattered range of things generalists tend to want more of.
We’ll kick things off with a facilitated conversation and a few prompts to get the ideas flowing and spark inspiration. Then, we’ll get stuck into creating our boards at our own pace, with plenty of time to browse, cut, stick, chat, and see what emerges.
We’ll finish with an optional sharing circle, where anyone who wants to can share a part (or all!) of their board, or what came up for them, followed by open conversation.
What is a generalist?
Professionals who apply their skills across multiple domains, connect disparate ideas, or serve as "translators" between different teams and disciplines. If you've ever felt your career doesn't fit in a single box, this celebration is for you.

About your host
Diana is a programme manager, coach, and facilitator who is passionate about bringing people together and creating experiences worth remembering. For her, being a generalist means embracing the things she’s curious about, following opportunities across different paths, and building a career and life that makes room for all of them.
