Morning - June 18, 2026 | VivaTech Parc des Expositions Porte de Versailles | Paris | Workshop A Hall 7.3

VivaTech has a unique power : it brings together diverse worlds — companies, startups, scale-ups, investors, institutions, associations, and even the general public — to showcase how technology contributes to society.

For its 10th edition, we have designed the Sustainability Executive Summit to celebrate a decade of innovation with purpose. This is the highlight of our sustainability program.

This year, the Sustainable Exec Summit gathers leaders around the theme "At the turning point : How can tech shape our sustainable future?" with the support of Capgemini and Salesforce.

Join 300 international leaders and decision-makers committed to sustainability for an exclusive morning session

This is an overview of the morning program ⤵️

9:00am to 9:45am : Welcome breakfast & Networking session

9:45am to 11am : Conferences

  • "Predict the unpredictable: Tech to anticipate natural risks” with Alexandra Palt, President of WWF France, François Gemenne, GIEC Expert, HEC Professor, Cyril Garcia, Global head of Sustainability Services, Corporate Responsibility and Group Accelerators, Capgemini & Florence Colombo Fouquet, VP ESG, Engie.

An organization’s sustainability is no longer measured only by its environmental or social commitments; it is measured by its ability to anticipate the risks that threaten its trajectory. The scientific data is clear: the window for action is narrowing, and climate risks already systemic, will intensify and weigh increasingly heavily on organizations’ economic and operational models. Integrating this reality into sustainability policies is no longer an option, it is a condition for survival. This roundtable explores how technological tools predictive modeling, AI, scientific data analysis, and more can help organizations make risk anticipation a strategic pillar, transforming uncertainty into sustainable resilience.

  • “ Beyond philanthropy: Who Funds Sustainability and How?” with Kate Williams, CEO 1% for planet

Philanthropy alone will not be enough. Given the scale of environmental and social challenges, the issue of funding sustainability has become one of the most critical and most controversial strategic issues for organizations. Who should pay? Based on what criteria? And what mechanisms can ensure real impact? These are the topics that will be discussed in this discussion.

  • “Tech That Connects Us: Building a more inclusive, human-centered society" with Dr Nadi Albino, Deputy Director UNICEF, Eric Salobir, President of Human Technology Foundation & Tim Christophersen, VP Climate Action, Salesforce.

Technology was born as a connector,  a tool to bridge distances, amplify voices, and bring people together across borders, cultures, and generations. Yet today, the dominant narrative has shifted: algorithms divide, platforms polarize, and digital tools often widen the very gaps they promised to close. For companies, this growing social division and mistrust toward technology is not only  a societal concern : it is a direct business risk, fueling disengagement among employees, eroding customer trust, and slowing down the adoption of tools that are critical to competitiveness. This roundtable challenges that narrative. We'll explore how to reclaim tech's original DNA as a force for inclusion and what it takes to embed that purpose into how we build and adopt technology today. How do we pass that vision on to younger generations for whom digital distrust is the default? How can companies overcome internal skepticism and foster a culture where technology is seen as an enabler, not a threat? And can tech genuinely help organizations close the distance between themselves and their customers and stakeholders? From civic engagement to workplace transformation, this session brings together leaders who believe the most powerful technology is the kind that makes us feel less alone.
