About Event

The State of AI in the People Function is a recurring conversation with the leaders doing the work of AI adoption. We take stock of where AI has genuinely changed People and HR workflow, where it hasn't lived up to the hype, and what they're paying attention to next.

June 2026 is our inaugural live session, a candid mid-year read from three People leaders who can speak to what's real because they're in it. Hosted by Clarinet, the leading AI adoption company for forward-looking organizations, in partnership with LifeLabs Learning and Pyn.

The Agenda

The Data Drop Review of findings from a pre-event pulse survey of People leaders. The headline numbers, the surprises, and the questions worth pressure-testing.

What's Landed Where AI has actually shifted how People teams operate in the first half of 2026, grounded in real examples from our panelists.

What's Lagging Where the tooling wasn't ready, where rollouts stalled, and where teams have rethought their approach.

What We're Watching What each panelist is paying attention to between now and our next check in.

Live Q&A Bring your questions, we’ll take as many as time allows.

What You'll Take Away

  • A clearer read on where AI within the People function stands in mid-2026

  • Data from a pre-event pulse survey of People leaders on adoption, confidence, and the gap between intent and reality.

  • Concrete examples from operators who have rolled AI into a real People function at scale

  • "State of AI in the People Function" snapshot you can share with your team and revisit when the next event lands
