About Event
Join us in the library for a short experimental documentary screening of "IFEYINWA" and a group conversation led by Jay Okoroafo, artist and founder of homebodi ARCHIVE, an ongoing memory project rooted in archival practice—activating family archives through moving image, sound, and gathering to tell stories of home, belonging, and becoming within Houston’s African diaspora.
Grounded by Tina Campt's text "Images Matter," the post-screening discussion will dissect the importance of family archives to Black folks across the African Diaspora.
