At last year's ToCW we sold out so fast we had to add another show!
Toronto Climate Comedy is back with our 9th show 😊. With an exclusive facilitated conversation pop-up by Uptown Climate Conversations!
At Toronto Climate Comedy, our comics include activists, volunteers, professionals, founders, students and influencers in the climate space so they get how you feel, and can make you laugh about it.
To date, our shows have brought in over 700 attendees and have raised over $6300 for climate initiatives! Organizations who have benefitted from our shows include Plant Based Treaty, Toronto Environmental Alliance, Pine Project, Charlie's Freewheels, Scarborough Environmental Association. Uptown Climate Conversations launched through the collaboration of a group of friends to bring people together to make climate change personal through conversation, while creating the community and vision to survive and thrive through it. Our main goal is to create an atmosphere where it’s not just about pitching yourself, but being yourself.

A) Special pre-show socialising & happy hours ☕ 🍻
Our pre-show socialising and networking is an absolute crowd favorite! This time we are keeping it for 30 minutes. Come meet your next climate mentor friend founder employer!
B) Friends of Climate ❤️
Just like the first three editions, we will be joined by 'Friends of Climate'. These are groups, organisations, startups which are making a difference for climate and seek your support as they do that.
C) Facilitated Conversation
Popping up exclusively for the first time since last fall, Uptown Climate Conversations will warm up the audience with some icebreakers and facilitated conversation to bring back the feeling of being around people who “get you”.
D) And yes the funniest part of the night? Stand-up for Climate - Toronto Climate Comedy Show!

Some jokes would be climate themed and the rest would be an eclectic mix.

Event Agenda
5:30 PM to 6:00 PM Socialise with climate community (Drinks, Socialise, Network, Support 'Friends of Comedy')
6:00 PM to 6:30 PM Facilitated Conversation (Break the ice and make friends!)
6:30 to 7:45 PM Comedy Show (Laugh out loud!)
7:45 PM to 8:00 PM Meet and Greet (Meet and greet, encourage the 'Friends of Climate', tell us how we did!)
