About Event

Join a candid discussion with learning professionals on the real-world implications of illusions about learning and nuances of applying Science of Learning when designing learning experiences, products, and programs. We'll discuss:

  • How common illusions about learning show up in our context and impact the outcomes

  • How we are designing for cognitive engagement, motivation, and transfer - what is working and what is not.

  • Brainstorm ways of applying insights from cognitive science in our learning programs for greater impact

This session will build on our expert talk with Carl Hendrick, Global Science of Learning and Instructional Design Expert held last week.

Expect an honest conversation as professionals from corporate, development, and education share their experiences and and those new to the field can ask questions, exchange ideas, and learn together.

Come ready to share, listen, and connect with peers and potential collaborators.
