LiT FrAIday #1: From AI Coding Tools to AI-First Engineering

What changes in the way we build software and lead engineering teams?

📅 Friday, 23 October 2026
💻 Online session
🌍 Language: English

Your team is using AI coding tools. What needs to change around them to make a real difference?

Join us for the first LiT FrAIday, a new Leaders in Tech series bringing together practitioners and international guest speakers for practical conversations about AI in tech organizations.

In this opening session, we’ll explore how teams move from individual AI tool use to integrating AI into the engineering workflow and what that means for quality, skills, and leadership.

What we’ll discuss

• Development, testing, and review: what changes when AI becomes part of how the whole team works?

• Quality and ownership: how do we keep code understandable, manage technical debt, and retain knowledge?

• Leading the transition: how do we help engineers learn, adapt expectations, and bring skeptical colleagues along?

Expect real examples, honest lessons about what worked and what didn’t, and room for your questions.

Who should join?

Engineering managers, tech leads, senior engineers, and technology leaders exploring how to put AI into practice with their teams.

Hosted by: Vera Ruxanda & Ștefan Ionescu
Guest speakers: To be announced soon.
