4N Exchange: Alias

​Join us for a conversation centered around 4N’s fifth issue theme: Alias.

​The role of the artist and creative is an ever-changing identity. For our fifth edition, 4N Exchange: Alias brings together five creatives to discuss the many hats they wear—designer and printmaker, curator and critic, director and scout, among others—and how this shapes the work they make. Led by Fía Benitez, guest editor of 4N Issue 5, the conversation features Wei, Julia Hung, Zihan Yang, and Annette An-Jen Liu, guest editor of Issues 3 and 4—all multidisciplinary artists and creatives featured in Issue 5, exploring identity through their work. In line with the theme of 4N Magazine's Issue 5: Alias, we'll discover how different aliases show up in creative practice.

4N Issue #5 features 11 extraordinary international talents showcasing their work and their interpretation of this issue's theme: Alias. Drawing from backgrounds in China, Egypt, France, Morocco, South Korea, and Taiwan, these artists work in mediums ranging from visual art and new media to performance and street scouting. This cohort was guest-edited by 4N alumna Fía Benitez. Additional features include interviews with artists and specialists, covering topics in the realms of astrocartography, personal branding, design, and travel. Each issue comes with a sheet of wig stickers (iykyk!)
