The Burden of Being Right: Book launch for 100 business angels (VCs welcome, under supervision)
We are gathering 100 business angels for one afternoon: experienced angels with dozens of investments behind them, and new angels about to write their first cheques.
But we believe in inclusion. So, in a rare act of generosity, we are also opening the doors to VCs. We would hate for them to miss out, and to be honest, they have quite a lot to learn too.
The occasion is the launch of The Burden of Being Right: Confessions of a European Angel Investor, the new book by Nicolaj Højer Nielsen.
Over 18 years and 73 startup investments, Nicolaj has learned most of his lessons the expensive way. The book is his honest account of them: the decisions that went wrong, broken cap tables, the long wait for exits, and the biases that drive angel decisions, his own included.

Nicolaj Højer Nielsen is a Danish business angel with 73 investments over 18 years. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, has taught at Copenhagen Business School for 15 years, and wrote Startup Funding, which has been used on university courses across Europe.
