Not Another Goddess: A Heroine's Night
An intimate storytelling night bringing together personal stories lived by women, intertwined with female mythological archetypes. Curated with care, designed for connection, and held in an intimate setting.
The old stories survive because they continue to mirror human experience. We change the way we live, but the soul still recognises itself in myth.
For thousands of years, goddesses have carried our questions about love, defiance, grief, and joy. But what happens when women tell these stories themselves? When Baubo's laughter is not obscene but healing, when Antigone's defiance is not madness but conscience, when Aphrodite's love is not vanity but a longing for real connection, when Lilith's refusal is not a threat but the first act of a free woman?
This evening brings together four women who recognise themselves in these ancient figures. Through personal stories intertwined with mythology, they retell them not as symbols, but as women: whole, contradictory, and achingly real.
Myth is a language the soul remembers before the mind can explain it. These stories don't offer fixed answers. They deepen our capacity to live alongside mystery, and invite us to participate more deeply in life.
Join us for an evening of stories.
