Robotics Expo!
βElecSoc is rounding off the year with our RoboExpo!
βIt's going to be jam-packed with activities, showcases, prizes, food - everything needed to satisfy your inner-child's dreams to be a maker!
βWe have a couple of key highlights
βDemoers! π¨
βWe're looking for anyone and everyone with anything they want to demo - apply and show off!
βWe'll have food, prizes and eyes to give you the chance to show off your cool project. Whether it be something you're working on the side, or a physical demo for your thesis - we want to see it!
βWe'll provide you with:
βA booth for your project π
βCoverage on our socials πΈ
βEyes from people working in the industry π
βAnd of course goodies! π
βDon't worry how big or small, or how profession or DIY it is - we're accepting it all and are giving you a chance to shine! π
βRobotics Officers π€
βOur four robotics officers will also be presenting...
βKelvin Gao | ROBOT SPIDER | 24 servos and an FPV camera, this thing is a beast π·οΈ
βMike Chen | DESKTOP ROBOT JARVIS | Say hi to this screen on wheels that can control your home π€
βCian Brady | ANALOGUE KICK DRUM | No lame binary here, this thing produces true musical beats, and it has a kick to it π₯
βLiam O'Sullivan | SAND ART MACHINE | More complicated than a CNC, this thing can draw any art, irl πΏ
βπ Don't forget to click the clicky-stuff and check out their profiles + GitHub pages!
βCool companies π₯
βIt's a secret who, for now... but rest assured, we'll have some companies come share their tech! π
βChill people π
βDon't worry! If you just want to see theΒ chaosΒ engineers build in their spare time, you can grab a spectator's ticket, and we'll make sure to compensate you with refreshments too!
βWe'll also have mini-competitions and challenges, some come for a chance to win some prizes π
β(hint: bring a driving licence and practice some rocket league π)
