May 9th: — it's not just cake!
"— it's not just cake" is a one-day event designed by Two Whimsical Florists, an experimental cake experience featuring 5 cake artists from toronto.
Each artist will present one cake, gallery-style. Something to be tasted, seen, and shared. Each cake reflects a distinct point of view. Intentional, visually strong, and entirely different from the next.
Guests will move through a guided tasting, sampling each cake in sequence while hearing directly from the bakers about their process, inspiration, and the way they approach their work.
Each guest will also receive a tasting card to note their favourites, reflect on what stood out, and experience the range of styles across all five artists.
The space will be styled with florals and tablescapes to reflect each cake—designed to feel immersive and a little unexpected.
A coffee and matcha vendor will be on-site, alongside a photographer to capture the experience.

Part of what we care about at Two Whimsical Florists is creating space for creatives in Toronto to be seen, experienced, and appreciated.
Each guest will receive a tasting card, not just to pick a favourite cake, but to notice what stood out, hear the stories behind each piece, and experience the range of talent in the room (and of course, eat cake).
This event also reflects how we think weddings should feel, more transparent, more enjoyable, and far less overwhelming. Something creative and personal, not stressful or filled with hidden costs.
Dress Code: Wear whatever makes you feel your best. Re-wear that dress you only wore once. Bring someone you love (or like a lot).
