A Summer Night in Songs - Asian Rainbow Chorus (ARC) Season 2 Summer Concert
This summer, ARC presents a program centered on resilience, identity, and shared hope.
Through music, we celebrate the strength to flourish even in difficult times. In the wake of the pandemic, amid experiences of discrimination shared by Asian communities, and facing a turbulent environment for immigrants, we choose to respond through voice rather than silence.
From self-affirmation in I Am What I Am,
to cultural memory in Arirang and Hanyangmen Garden,
to poetic tenderness in Dirait-on,
and culminating in the holiness of Total Praise and Amazing Grace,
the concert becomes a journey of remembrance, intercultural understanding, and collective uplift.
In summer light, we sing.
In adversity, we bloom.

About Us
We are the Asian Rainbow Chorus (ARC), founded in New York in July 2024. ARC is an Asian LGBTQ+ choir that centers on Mandarin-speaking Asians and is dedicated to building connections among overseas communities.
The Asian Rainbow Chorus (ARC) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, fiscally sponsored by SilkPride.
Through music, we unite as a community — using our voices to express queer identity, cultural diversity, and transnational solidarity. ARC is dedicated to creating an inclusive space for Mandarin-speaking queer Asians, where members from diverse regions and backgrounds can share their stories, emotions, and strength through song.
Singing is also a form of direct action. ARC believes in the power of collective voice and remains committed to advancing social justice through music.

今年夏天，ARC 以「夏夜如歌」為主題，在光與聲音中表達生命的力量。
夏天象徵盛放，也像徵在挑戰中依然綻放的勇氣。面對疫情後的記憶，亞洲社群共同經歷的誤解與歧視，以及移民在當下環境中面對的挑戰，我們選擇讓歌聲打破沉寂，用音樂回應現實。
從《I Am What I Am》盡情恣肆的自我表達，
到《Arirang》與《漢陽門花園》溫暖親切的文化記憶，
從《Dirait-on》的詩意與溫柔，
到《Total Praise and Amazing Grace》的聖潔與寧靜，
這是一段關於身分、連結與希望的旅程。
在盛夏之中，我們歌唱；
在逆境之中，我們綻放。
