Networking Session
In the U.S., most job opportunities come from referrals and warm introductions, not cold applications. Career growth depends not only on your skills, but on your visibility, relationships, and being "top of mind." Networking isn't asking for a job. It's building trust, exchanging value, and staying connected.
This session is designed to help you understand U.S. networking expectations, practice a clear and confident professional introduction, and build real connections.
This time, we're doing something different. We're opening this session beyond our community. You'll practice your networking skills not only with fellow members, but also with professionals from outside She's New To America Pro. This means fresh faces, new industries, and a chance to expand your network in a real way.
Everyone is welcome: current members, past participants, and anyone who wants to join us for the first time.
What you'll get:
A structured environment to meet professionals inside and outside the community
Practice delivering a concise U.S.-style introduction (30–60 seconds)
Exposure to multiple groups through breakout rotations
A simple system for continuing conversations after the event
Come prepared with your 30–60 second introduction:
Your name

What kind of connections or support you're looking for
By the end of the session, you will:
Clearly articulate who you are and what you're looking for
Meet 12–24 new professionals
Exchange LinkedIn profiles and follow up
Feel more confident in U.S. networking norms
