About Event

This free two-part series is designed to help U.S. permanent residents understand the process of becoming a U.S. Citizen. Led by Sherry Nohara, Managing Attorney at Noha Immigration, she’ll provide clear information on the requirements for naturalization and explain the most recent changes to immigration policy.

We'll cover the technical details of the N-400 application. and explain the rules for "physical presence," which determines how many days you must stay in the U.S. to qualify, and also discuss how USCIS reviews "good moral character," including how past arrests or legal issues can affect your case. Finally, we’ll break down the August 2025 USCIS Policy Memo to show how new government rules may change your naturalization interview and the overall review of your application.
