About Event

Vibe coding is way more fun with other people in the room.

This is a casual one-day meetup for ~30 NYC builders who are using AI tools to ship things. The whole point is simple: come share what's in your stack, see what's in everyone else's, and team up on something fun in the afternoon.

If you're new to the term — vibe coding is just building software by describing what you want and letting AI handle most of the keystrokes. Doesn't matter if you're a developer or a hospitality lead or a designer who started shipping last month. If you've made something with these tools, or you're curious to try, you belong here.

Mornings are show-and-tell. Community demos from people in the room: five minutes each, no slides required, just "here's what I made and how." We'll also do quick walkthroughs of tools you might not have tried yet: Claude Code, Lovable, Replit, ElevenLabs, Wispr Flow, etc. Vince from TeamVince will share how he plans projects before he builds them, which is genuinely the unsexy part that makes the rest easier.

After lunch, we form small teams and build something together. There's no pressure to ship anything fancy — just enough structure to move forward, with check-ins along the way and a low-key demo round at the end. Applause, no critique.

Already building? You'll trade tricks with people doing similar things. Curious but haven't started? Come watch, ask questions, jump on a team — you don't need to write code to be useful.

🛠 FAQ

Brand new to this? Welcome. We'll send a setup guide a few days before so you're ready.

Do I need to be technical? Not at all. Just bring curiosity and a willingness to try things.

Can I observe? Yes — but jumping on a team is more fun! Every pod needs people who can think, scope, and test.

Got a project you want to lead? Bring it. Especially if it's tied to a social-impact problem.

Want to demo in the morning? DM me. Five minutes. Show us what you made.

What to bring? Laptop, curiosity, and an idea if you have one!
