About Event

Kick off Philly Pride with us on May 30th for an Out in Climate hike through the Wissahickon! We'll meet up at High Point Cafe at the Richard Allen Lane train station in Mt. Airy and head out for a casual ~3-mile walk along the trails. With over 2,000 acres of wooded gorges and creek-side paths, the Wissahickon is one of Philly's most beautiful natural treasures — and a perfect backdrop for getting to know fellow LGBTQ+ climate professionals and allies. Along the way, we'll swap stories about our work and take in some of the best nature the city has to offer.

What to bring: Comfortable walking footwear and water — you can also grab some at High Point Cafe before we head out!

Rain date: If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll regroup the following weekend (Sunday, June 7th).

By attending this event, you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct and understand that Out in Climate is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur. We may take photos or videos during the event and share them. Thank you for contributing to a safe, inclusive space!

Meeting point: High Point Cafe — Richard Allen Lane Station, 200 West Allens Lane, Philadelphia, PA (Mt. Airy)
