Climate Changemakers HOA
Our hour of action is ON for November. As this action falls on Election Day, we are going to make it fun and light. There will be free appetizers for all (thanks, Billy!), and we will have postcards available to send to your neighbors thanking them for voting and personally inviting them to join a future hour of action. That's it!
We'll meet at the usual place, but half an hour earlier to give folks time to move on to their election night rituals, whether that's a watch party or a quiet evening at home. Here are the details:
6:00-7:00pm at Tower Tavern (401 East 31st Street, KCMO). For anyone interested, two environmental champion legislators (Emily Weber & Patty Lewis) are hosting an election night watch party starting at 7pm at our meeting place
(Optional) we'll have a few non-election related actions you can take in a few minutes using your phone to support climate action, pollinators, and/or sustainable agriculture.
As always this will be accompanied by friendship, laughter, and solidarity. This will be a good one so you won't want to miss it.
