Speaker Series: Portfolio Presentation and Advice w/ Chris Ota

​The job market is more competitive than ever. Having recently gone through the application and interview process himself, Chris will share the portfolio he used during his own job search. He’ll also offer actionable advice on how to structure your own presentation to stand out and make a strong, lasting impression.

​Originally from Oʻahu, Chris is a San Francisco–based Staff Product Designer at LinkedIn. Since moving, he has grown his career at companies like Lyft and Apple. Earlier on, he served on the AIGA Honolulu board, taught design at Kapiʻolani Community College, and worked at local design agencies.
