Toby is a seasoned technology and commercial contracts lawyer with deep expertise in defence tech, deeptech and space. Having spent time running legal teams within BAE Systems Plc as well within scaleups as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer, Toby brings a unique blend of legal and operational insight gained across the industry from prime to pre-seed. He now leads Mishcon de Reya’s deeptech and defence practice, which is focused on supporting companies developing technologies from pre-seed stage through to neo-prime scale.
