Data, AI, and Product bouldering social
Join people working across data, AI, and product for a relaxed bouldering social in London, organised by the Data & AI Product Management community.
Come along for a climb, a chat, and a chance to get to know other people working with data and AI. If you've been to one of our meetups, it'll be a chance to catch up. If you're new to the community, you're very welcome.
The plan is a relaxed session at CanaryWall, near Westferry DLR, with time to try a few climbs and chat between attempts.
When: Saturday 14 November 2026, 11am–2pm.
Where: CanaryWall, 21-23 Trinidad Street, London E14 8AA, a one-minute walk from Westferry DLR.
Cost: RSVPing here is free. You'll pay CanaryWall directly for your own gym admission. They've offered our group free climbing shoe hire for this social.
Whether you work in product, data, analytics, or AI, you're welcome to join us. You don't need "product" in your job title.
I'm a beginner. Is that okay?
Yes, absolutely! Beginners are very welcome, and you don't need any climbing experience. Before your first visit, please pre-register with CanaryWall and watch their induction video.
What do I need to bring?
Just comfortable exercise clothes, like you'd wear to any gym. Bring your climbing shoes if you have them; otherwise, CanaryWall has offered us free shoe hire for this social. You may also want to bring a padlock if you'd like to lock your belongings away.
Do I need to pay?
You'll pay the gym directly. Our Saturday 11am session falls within peak hours: standard adult entry is £17, or £15 if you qualify for a concession. New climbers also pay a £2 registration fee, so budget £19 for a first visit at the standard adult rate. Shoe hire is free for our group. See the gym's full prices and concession details.
Can I bring my kid(s) along?
CanaryWall has no minimum age for supervised children. A registered, competent adult climber who passes the gym's supervisor assessment can supervise up to two children. A parent or legal guardian must complete each child's registration before the visit. Experienced 14-17-year-olds can climb independently after completing the gym's assessment and parental-consent requirements. Please read the full under-18s policy and supervision guidance before coming.
My recommendation: if your child climbs regularly and you're comfortable supervising them under the gym's rules, this may be fine. If you and your child aren't experienced climbers, this probably isn't the best time to introduce them to it.
About the Data & AI Product community
Data and AI product management is still a young discipline, and there aren't many spaces dedicated to learning from peers.
So we started this meetup in 2023 to change that! Since then, it's grown into a vibrant community with chapters in London, Barcelona, and Paris.
You can meet us in person at these meetups, but also join our global community where we have expert webinars, training courses, job postings, resources, and discussions.
Feel free to share this event with friends or colleagues who would enjoy joining us.
