About Event

Working on the strategic side of data & AI can be a lonely place. Whether you're a product manager, data leader, analyst, consultant or something else entirely, it helps to meet people dealing with similar challenges.

Join us for an hour of proper conversations with your peers. No presentation to sit through: we'll meet in the main room, then split into small breakout groups so everyone has a chance to talk.

How it works

  • We'll start with a brief welcome and an explanation of the format.

  • You'll meet people in breakout rooms of two or three, with time to get beyond introductions. We'll aim for two rounds of around 20 minutes.

  • A host will stay in the main room for late arrivals, questions or anyone who wants to step out of a conversation.

What should we talk about?

A starting prompt if you'd like one: What's a challenge you're currently facing at work?

Or bring something you're building, excited about or trying to figure out. The prompt is there to help you get started, not to set the agenda. You don't need a product-management job title to join.

A couple of things that help

  • Come ready to chat, with your camera on. This is a participatory session. Please don't record conversations unless everyone in your breakout room explicitly agrees.

  • Only RSVP if you're planning to come, and update it if your plans change. We use the numbers to plan the breakout groups.

  • Please join on time. If you're running late, you're still welcome - join the main room and we'll help you settle in.

Come to swap experiences, meet someone new, or find people thinking about similar problems. See you there!

Community Principles

  • No pitching. Come to share challenges and learn from each other, rather than sell.

  • Be kind and inclusive. Make everyone feel part of the conversation, give others space to speak and respect different perspectives.

  • Respect confidentiality. You can share what you learn, but not who said it or which organisation they are from.

  • If there is a problem, speak to one of the co-hosts. We are here to help.

Read our Community Guidelines.
