Future Crime: Risks, Vulnerabilities and Opportunities from Emerging Technologies and Policy
Join us for the next event of Deeptech Futures, a monthly series from UCL Engineering, hosted at IDEALondon.
This time, we’re exploring Future Crime: Risks, Vulnerabilities and Opportunities from Emerging Technologies and Policy.
Artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, brain-computer interfaces and other new policy are transforming society and unlocking new possibilities for growth and innovation. However, these advances also create new vulnerabilities, expose previously unforeseen risks, and enable forms of crime that have yet to be fully understood or addressed. This session will explore the evolving threat landscape, the challenges it poses for policy and industry, and the opportunities for innovators, researchers and entrepreneurs to develop solutions that minimise risk, enhance resilience, and ensure new technologies deliver their full societal benefit.
What you get out of it
A sharper understanding of how emerging technologies could shape the future of crime.
Expert insight into the risks, vulnerabilities and policy challenges on the horizon.
A forward-looking view of where the biggest opportunities exist to build safer, more resilient systems.
Fresh perspectives on how innovation can stay ahead of evolving threats.
