Lovable Meetup Toronto (July) w/ The Viral AI & Rootly AI
About Event
Trying to build with AI, but want your product to feel more polished, useful, and real?
Join us for the official Lovable Meetup Toronto at Rootly HQ.
AI has made it easier than ever to get a product off the ground. But once the first version is built, harder questions show up:
How do you make it feel like something people would actually trust, use, and come back to?
And how do you take useful software beyond a browser and into the real world?
This month, we are bringing together builders, designers, founders, creators, and curious people to explore both sides of that challenge:
Making AI-built products feel intentional, polished, and human
Turning everyday objects into useful digital experiences
You’ll meet people building with Lovable, hear from experienced operators and creators, and get a chance to show what you are working on.
Who is this for?
Engineers, designers, PMs, founders, creators, students, operators, teachers, and anyone curious about building with Lovable.
Whether you are technical or non-technical, just starting out or already shipping, you are welcome.
Featured Speaker #1 - Stephanie Loureiro
Talk: Making AI-Built Products Feel Human
Most AI-built products have a look.
You know it when you see it: inconsistent spacing, generic layouts, awkward UI, and a product that feels more generated than designed.
Stephanie Loureiro wants to help builders move past that.
Stephanie is a UX/UI designer, product strategy advisor, Head of Digital at Grata, and CSO/Product Strategy Advisor at Speer. In this talk, she’ll share practical ways to use design systems inside Lovable to create more polished, consistent, and trustworthy product experiences.
Great for anyone building with AI who wants their product to feel intentional, not accidental.

Featured Speaker #2 - Jack Price
Talk: Vibe Coding Things in the Real World
Most AI-built products live behind a screen. Jack Price is interested in what happens when you bring them into everyday life.
In this live session, Jack will build a simple water-tracking web app with Lovable, then show how an NFC tag and Apple Shortcuts can turn an ordinary water bottle into a one-tap habit tool.
You’ll see the product come together, learn how the physical and digital pieces connect, and get access to starter resources you can remix for your own life, team, or business.
NFC tags will be available for attendees to experiment with during and after the session.
Jack will also show how phone automations can extend the experience even further.
