About Event

Have you ever heard of the Circular Economy? It is made up on the foundational principles of creating zero waste. In a world where almost everything is considered tossable this type of mission driven exercise is highly valuable to invoke change. Please join us in fostering community connections through a thought provoking discussion on how to break our societal norms to create zero waste!

For this event we will start off with a short segment on what the circular economy is and some foundational principles from there we be working as a collective (or in breakouts if the group is really large) the moderator will be providing scenarios or products from all areas of life that generate waste and we will discuss possible solutions to eliminate waste throughout the pre and post consumer contact. This is meant to be a fun and engaging exercise so please bring your thinking cap!

The moderator is hoping to create a Local Chapter for Circular Economists and this event is helping to gage community interest. Even if you cannot attend but are interested in the Local Chapter please reach out to the host directly on LinkedIn!

The event will be at a park so if it is raining the event will be canceled. We may also be sitting in the grass potentially so please bring blankets, camping chairs, snacks, water, hats and whatever else you may need to feel comfortable.

By registering for this event, you agree to share your information with the event organizers, PNW Climate Week, and Climatebase / the Climate Week Network. You may receive updates from these organizations, and can opt out at any time in accordance with their respective privacy policies.”
