​As a flagship session of Women in Design Thinking, this event explores how design thinking can help us navigate visibility, understand ourselves, and collaborate in the workplace. Through the lens of Inside Out and Outside In, we reflect on how self-awareness shapes how we show up at work, and how our interactions, confidence, and communication shape how others see us.

​Our two guest speakers will share how they apply design thinking mindsets to build confidence, foster teamwork, and influence — turning reflection into action and helping women professionals translate inner clarity into visible impact.

​​​🎤 Speakers

​​​✨ Yi Wang is a web developer at the Australian National University, with a background in front-end design and JavaScript development. She has experience across web support, interface design, and digital problem-solving, and is passionate about using technology and design to enhance communication, collaboration, and visibility in workplaces.

​​​✨ Eve Wang is a product designer who has worked across marketing, creative, and engineering fields and now focuses on product design in the resources and technology industry. She integrates her diverse background into design thinking practice, exploring how both design and the individual grow together within complex systems.
