About Event

Welcome to the YYC Vegan Social Community Hub at Calgary VegFest 2026!

Join us on September 5, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunalta Community Hall (1627 10 Ave SW).

We have partnered with the Calgary Vegan Society to offer scheduled activities throughout VegFest 2026 to help build and bring our amazing community together. Have an opportunity to meet and interact with like-minded folks and learn a bit more about what the YYC Vegan Social Group is all about. You can also find festival buddies to enjoy the festivities with throughout Calgary VegFest 2026!

Scheduled Activities

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Colouring Pages (CREATIVITY)
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: The Vegan Plate (NUTRITION)
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Bracelet Making (FRIENDSHIP)
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Table Games (COMMUNITY)

What Else to Expect

Beyond scheduled activities, we will have YYC Vegan Social Ambassadors at the booth to help answer questions, get you registered for the Community Registrar mailing list, and help you sign up for events that we are running all September long.
