Join us for a Valentines Day edition of Conversations with Modern Stoicism.
Whether this is your first time or your thirtieth, you are in for a treat at Conversations with Modern Stoicism.
Conversations with Modern Stoicism is an interactive virtual gathering that provides an opportunity for Stoics around the world to connect, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue with each other.
This means cameras on, microphones working. You will meet and talk to practicing Stoics from around the world.
The events feature a presentation from a respected speaker followed by multiple rounds of audience conversations via Zoom breakout rooms.
The events are lively, engaging opportunities to collaborate with others as you pursue your journey into philosophical Stoicism.
About our Presenters
Greg Sadler was the editor of Stoicism Today from 2016 to 2022. After a traditional academic career of teaching, research, faculty development, and institutional leadership, he founded the company ReasonIO, started a popular philosophy YouTube channel, and began working with clients as an APPA-certified philosophical counselor. He is the author of Reason Fulfilled By Revelation and is engaged in several book projects. His work also includes public speaking, philosophy tutorials, ethics consulting, and academic coaching.
Andi Sciacca is the Founder of The FEAST Institute (Food, Ethics, Art, Science, and Technology) and currently works with the City of Milwaukee's Environmental Collaboration Office (ECO), leading grant-funded initiatives that address food insecurity, waste reduction, landfill diversion, and environmental impact. She also serves in several nonprofit leadership roles, which provide consistent opportunities to practice Stoicism in her work.
Andi finds exceptional value in Stoic practice, particularly in how it has helped her understand the pursuit of a good life and the willingness to accept what that life brings.
