PWYC Indigo & Walnut Dye Party

​We're setting up with a Pay What You Can community Indigo vat and Walnut Dye pot! Hang out, chat about natural dyes, and have a chance to try out both indigo and walnut dyes! I will have string and elastic available to play around with tie-dyeing techniques.

​We'll be set up in the yard of an address in Central Frederick. Address will be sent to you after registration. There is also a porch available so the event will be rain or shine! This is a drop-in event, but please expect to stay for at least 30 minutes to finish your dyeing.

​Please bring 1-2 pre-washed items (t-shirt, bandana, napkins, etc.) to dye. They should be white, or at least pretty light in colour. I will also have a few items available to purchase on site (ex. bandanas) for a set price if you aren't able to bring something. Please also bring a plastic bag to carry your item home as they will still be wet when you leave!

​Free to register and stop by, but we are asking you to pay what you can onsite. Suggested price is $10-$40. Pay less if you're dyeing a smaller item, more if you are bringing multiple things to dye. Cash, e-transfer and card payments available.
