One of the greatest benefits of going to LSE is becoming part of an extraordinary global network of accomplished alumni, but in an increasingly busy world, actually accessing practical support from that network isn't always easy.

The Founder Counsel Power Hour is an exclusive opportunity for LSE students & alum, anywhere in the world (founders or aspiring), to spend one hour with experienced alumni from the US tech and innovation ecosystem who are opening their doors to help the next generation of founders.

There is no presentation and no set agenda. Come with the questions you genuinely want answered, the challenges you’re working through, or even a deck you’d like another pair of experienced eyes on.

Who should I be pitching? Is my deck ready for investors? How should I approach fundraising in different geographies? Who should sit on my board? How do I break into the US? What would you do differently if you were in my position?

For our first edition, you’ll have one hour with:

Joseph Albert - Chief Financial Officer, Leaf Agriculture (Msc Management)

Joseph is a startup finance leader specialising in venture-backed B2B SaaS and currently CFO at Leaf Agriculture, an agtech company building the infrastructure that helps businesses access and use farm data at scale.  He has helped build and scale several tech startups, raising Seed, A and B rounds, and driving successful exits.Joseph has deep first-hand experience in fundraising, investor positioning, and scaling venture-backed companies in the US.

Tom Galido - Operating Partner, Next Stage Trajectory (International Relations, Hansard Scholars Programme)

Tom is a seasoned founder, operator, adviser and company builder with more than 20 years of experience helping businesses scale, transform and navigate critical growth inflection points. Tom works with venture-backed and growth-stage companies on strategy, go-to-market, operations and execution. His recent work includes helping a US e-bike accessories business increase profit by 15% in four months, supporting a robotics startup in doubling investor interest through a strategic pivot from hardware to SaaS, and advising another robotics company on product strategy and AI talent -  giving him deep practical experience in scaling businesses, strengthening enterprise value and preparing companies for their next stage of growth.

This isnt a panel or a masterclass - just a just an hour with two experienced people who are there to help! Bring the question you actually need answered.

Sometimes, one conversation or introduction can make a meaningful difference to someone a few steps behind you.

We’re incredibly grateful to Tom and Joseph for generously giving their time, experience, and perspective to support fellow LSE founders. If you are an experienced alum anywhere in the world and would like to do the same, whether by sharing your expertise, opening your network, reviewing a deck, or simply giving an hour of your time, we’d love to hear from you.
