Women Who Build [Edition 2.0]

Women Who Build is back for Part Two! 🍂

With GHC on pause this year, we didn’t want the season to pass without a space for Toronto’s early-career women in tech to come together. So we’re bringing the room back, cozier this time.

Whether you came to our first event or this is your first time hearing about us, you’re so welcome here. Come solo, bring a friend, or bring your whole group chat. No networking pressure, no elevator pitches. Just good company and honest conversation.

This time, we’re joined by Aditi Lohtia, UWaterloo Engineering alum, for a talk on taking up space as women and standing your ground, both in the rooms we’re already in and the ones we’re still walking into. We’ll be painting mini pumpkins while we chat, so come ready to get a little creative (no artistic talent required, we promise 🎃).

What to expect

• A talk and open conversation with Aditi

• Mini pumpkin painting, all supplies provided

• Time to meet other women building in tech

• Drinks and onigiri available to purchase at the cafe

📅 Wednesday, October 28, 6:30 to 8:30 PM
📍 Mottomotto Cafe, Toronto
🎟️ $7, which covers the venue

We can’t wait to spend a fall evening with you. See you there! 🧡

Hosted by the Women Who Build team: a group of university students who’ve navigated internships, interviews and everything in between, and wanted a real space to talk about it.
