Kickoff Bits & Pretzels Valencia - Scale & Sell

​For this kick-off edition, we’re keeping it intimate and high-signal: we’re bringing in 2-3 great speakers who have raised millions and/or exited for millions, and are willing to share the unpolished version of their journey; what actually worked, what didn’t, and what they’d do differently today.

Founders, operators, angels, VCs and accelerators are all welcome. If you’re actively building, backing or supporting startups around Valencia or in Europe in general, you’ll feel right at home.

Laurens van den Oever has a truly international track record; Dutch by origin, years of experience in Singapore and later scaling a Valencia-based company to global impact, Laurens brings a rare combination of global vision and local execution. As co-owner of ForwardKeys, he successfully led the company to its acquisition by Amadeus last year, marking a major milestone in travel data and intelligence.

Kasper Middelkoop is the founder & CEO at Smiler and previously co-founder of Tiqets.com (now part of Expedia Group) and founder & CPO of Hotelchamp.com, Kasper brings nearly two decades of experience in building and scaling category-defining travel and hospitality tech companies. He has grown multiple ventures from zero to international operations, raised capital, and led teams through acquisition and rapid global expansion.
