About Event

Seeking expressions of interest from senior (c-suite, director-level) individuals from businesses, NGOs, and government to join a ~30-person strategic roundtable in the UNFCCC Blue Zone.

Geothermal energy offers a significant opportunity to expand reliable, low-carbon energy while strengthening energy security, supporting industrial development, and creating skilled jobs. Advances in next-generation geothermal technologies are broadening the range of locations where geothermal resources can be developed, opening new markets and investment opportunities beyond countries with established geothermal industries.

However, scaling geothermal deployment requires more than technological innovation. Countries need access to specialized expertise, experienced project developers, a skilled workforce, advanced equipment, manufacturing capacity, and financing. Gaps in these areas can increase project costs, extend development timelines, and limit the pace at which new markets can emerge.

International partnerships can help bridge these gaps by connecting countries with complementary capabilities, resources, and commercial interests.

This roundtable will examine how international cooperation can translate these complementary strengths into practical partnerships that advance geothermal deployment and deliver economic benefits across participating countries.

Spots are limited so an early RSVP is recommended.

More information to come.
