GCC Hack Night | GitHub Workshop
Join us for a fast, hands-on crash session on software development using GitHub, the platform where developers store, share, and collaborate on code. We’ll show you how to go from an empty folder to a live repository, how to track your changes with commits and branches, and how to team up on real projects with pull requests, just in time for Jewel City Hacks 6.0
Industry mentors from the Hacker Fund network — featuring founders from the Forbes 30 under 30 List — will share firsthand experiences and answer questions about entrepreneurship and invention. These mentors are available through Hacker Fund as part of the Glendale Growth Group (G3)— a program that is being funded by a State Grant awarded through the City of Glendale Economic Development Division.
This HACK NIGHT is an extension of JEWEL CITY HACKS 5.0 and reviews core concepts that were taught at the hackathon on 09/26/26. This event is organized by the GCC CS Club and is powered by Hacker Fund.
