Primal Moves × DEAD Talks
An Evening on Life, Loss & What Connects Us

As we enter a season when many traditions honor those who have passed—and speak of the veil between worlds growing thin—we invite you to gather for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and connection.

Join Primal Moves and David Ferrugio, author and host of the DEAD Talks podcast, for an open conversation about death, grief, and what loss can teach us about being alive.

At the heart of the evening, a beautiful communal altar will offer a place to honor the people, memories, and love we carry. You are invited to bring a photograph of someone who has passed, a cherished object, or something meaningful to place on the altar as you arrive.

We’ll begin with time to settle in, connect over mocktails and a grazing table, and contribute to this shared space of remembrance.

David will share his own experience with loss, alongside the stories and perspectives he has gathered through hundreds of conversations exploring grief, mortality, and the mysteries surrounding them. Through personal storytelling, a reading from his new book, You’re Not Dead Yet: How Grief and Loss Can Teach You to Live, and an audience Q&A, we’ll make room for the questions we so often leave unspoken.

Sound healer and medium Amber Bonham will then guide a meditative sound bath, offering space to rest, reflect, and let the evening settle.

Afterward, you’re welcome to linger, pull cards, share a conversation, or simply enjoy a quiet moment before heading home.

Whether you are carrying a loss, remembering someone you love, or simply curious, you are welcome here. Come as you are, with as much or as little as you wish to share.
